Hourglass cursor on www.google.com in opera 9.1

Ever since upgrading to opera 9.1 on my gentoo machine (on two of them as
a matter of fact, home and work) every time I load www.google.com (which I
have set as my home page) it loads fine but the hourglass cursor never
goes away...annoying as hell....harmless but really annoying.

I've read elsewhere about this issue in opera under linux, but have never
seen it until now. I get it even if I rename my .opera to start with a
clean profile.

Anyone else getting this?
