Somehow the crash dialogue never shows up in 11.10, while I experience
crashes, mostly while debugging with Dragonfly.

Is there any reason the dialogue is not showing, or is there a setting?,
i guess crash info should still be very valuable for Opera.

It's probably
http://askubuntu.com/questions/41629/after-upgrade-gdb-wont-attach-to-process

Can't be sure though, since I don't run Ubuntu. A bug has been filed for
it, so now you need to wait :)

Thx, yes i'm using Ubuntu.
I'm glad this is acknowledged, and Ruari has now written about it on his blog:
